
Missionary and founder of Ukombozi, Emily has carried a burden for missions since her early teenage years. She attended Crossroads Leadership College, interned with one of the largest children’s ministries in Louisiana, and studied global missions with West Coast Bible College and Seminary. She is also Ordained with the Louisiana Assemblies of God. In 2017, Emily visited Kenya for the first time, and the vision for Ukombozi was born. She now serves in Kenya full time with her family.
Born and raised in Colorado, Seven felt a call to ministry and moved to Lafayette, LA in 2018 to study at Crossroads Leadership College. After graduating and completing a childrens ministry internship, Seven served as the children’s pastor at Connect Church in Alexandria, LA until a church missions trip to Kenya in 2023 where he felt the Lord leading him in a new direction. He promptly stepped onto the mission field in Kenya in 2024 where he and Emily now lead Ukombozi. He also holds credentials with the Louisiana Assemblies of God.
Seven and Emily began their relationship while Seven was in Kenya leading a missions trip with his church. He is quoted saying, “I have 2 missions, and only one of them is Jesus.” During the two weeks of this trip Seven and Emily connected, grew, and began dating before Seven flew back to America. One year later, after moving to Kenya and becoming a missionary in his own right, Seven proposed. The Beagleys were married in January of 2025 and welcomed their first child in December of the same year.

Ricky Thibodeaux was raised in Lafayette, LA. In the corporate world he has held management positions as well as started his own real estate inspection company in the Lafayette area. As lifelong residents of the Acadiana area, Ricky and his wife Melissa have served in ministry at Crossroads Church in Lafayette for over 30 years. He has served on Crossroads Church’s Board of Directors and held ministry credentials with the Assemblies of God. Ricky and Melissa realize that the kingdom agenda of the cross is the responsibility of everyone in the Body of Christ, from the audience to the platform, as goers and as senders.

Paul Burke is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and the Lead Pastor of Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles, LA. He has served as a children’s, youth, associate, and lead pastor. Paul has a B.S. in Church Ministries from Nelson University and an M.Div. in Spiritual Formation from Regent University. Paul has been married to his wife, Cyndi, since 1990 and they have been in ministry since 1991. Paul and Cyndi enjoy golfing, snow skiing, and discovering new places to eat!

Stephanie Domengeaux was born and raised in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area. She is married to Aaron Domengeaux, and together they have three children, Malia, Micah and Maverick. Stephanie attended bible school at Crossroads Masters Commission and graduated in 2007. After graduating bible school, she served on staff at Crossroads Church until 2010. In 2010, Stephanie began interning beneath an established ministry in Kenya, where she learned about culture and missions firsthand. In 2012 she married Aaron, and together they served this ministry until 2015, when the Lord led them to establish their own ministry. Kufikia International was birthed from their vision and today they continue to serve the people of Kenya as full-time missionaries.
